Pastor Michael McBride (aka “Pastor Mike”) is a native of San Francisco and has been active in ministry for over 20 years. Pastor McBride's commitment to holistic ministry can be seen through his leadership roles in both the church and community organizations. A graduate of Duke University’s Divinity School, with a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Ethics and Public Policy, Pastor McBride founded The Way Christian Center in West Berkeley, where he presently serves as the Lead Pastor.
Brendan Busse, S.J. & Angel Mortel
Fr. Brendan Busse, S.J. previous work with the Ignatian Spirituality Project in Chicago (Ignatian retreats for homeless men and women in addiction recovery), MAGIS and World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a summer living and working in an orphanage in the far northeast region of India, and writing regularly for both America magazine and TheJesuitPost.org have been fundamental in pushing for social change.
Angel Mortel is an organizer with LA Voice. She spent over 15 years in Brazil, serving most of those years with Maryknoll Lay Missioners. Her ministry involved organizing community health volunteers, coordinating an income generation project for women and fundraising for the national prison ministry of the Brazilian Catholic Church. Most recently, she managed the faith community outreach program at Brave New Films

Annie fox & WILLIAM RUTT
Annie Fox is the Provincial Assistant for Social Ministry Organizing for Jesuits West. Fox served as the Lead Organizer and Chief of Staff at LA Voice, the Lead Organizer at Sacramento Area Congregations Together (ACT) and Lead Education Organizer for PICO California — all of which are affiliates of Faith in Action, the largest faith-based organizing network in the country.
William Rutt is the Executive Director for the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center. Will’s experience of journeying with DACA students and organizing for racial equity have made it clear to him that his heart is in “walking with communities as they build a new vision, a new reality, by claiming power together to change structures that oppress and dehumanize.”

Darian Benitez is an incoming first-year student at Harvard University. During his time at Brophy College Prep, he was an instrumental leader in the DreamON Campaign and participated in Aliento AZ's 2020 Fellowship cohort.
Saúl Rascón Salazar is a third-year student at Loyola Marymount University currently studying international relations and minoring in French. Having led The DreamON Campaign at Brophy College Prep in Arizona, Saúl has years of hands-on experience in immigration advocacy and local legislative action.
